She spent her life being a loving and devoted friend, wife, mother and Mimi. Everyone around her was truly inspired by her deep faith, strength, courage, and unwavering love.
Lucy was preceded in death by her first husband Wayne Cox Sr. She is survived by: her husband Kevin McBride; her children Wayne Jr. (Stacy) and Keith (Melissa); her grandchildren Mason, Kaitlyn, Madison, and Natalie; and her great grandchild Cade.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held July 22, 2025, at Kentwood Heights Baptist Church in Quinton, Virginia. Meet the family at 5:00 pm, and the service will be at 6:00 pm. Refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Kentwood Heights Baptist Church.
