Marcia Patterson Conway

CONWAY, Marcia Patterson, 81, of Richmond, passed away on October 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Hampton Conway Jr.; son, Wade Conway II; sisters, Margaret Miller and Thelma Patterson; and brother, Clarence Patterson. Mrs. Conway retired from AT&T as an inspector after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, cooking and watching her soap operas. She is survived by her son, Clarence William Conway; daughters, Becky Hockman (Jeb), Phyllis Denton (James) and Shirley Angelino (Steve); grandchildren, Jason Hockman, Shannon Denton-Brown (Jason), Shawn Denton, Emily Angelino and Lindsey Conway Miller (Paul) and her mother, Peggy Conway; sisters, Lillie Donahue and Anne Jones; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at 4712 Park Place Ct., Richmond, Va. 23060.
