Margie Mae Palmore

Margie Mae Palmore, 87 of Sandston, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, James R. Womack and Maggie Shelton; and her husband of 59 years, Zelda Willis Palmore Jr. Margie was a loving and devoted home maker to her family and would attend Ft. Lee Baptist Church when she was able. She loved to frequent her favorite restaurants like Hardees, Taco Bell and Long John Silver. However, her grandchildren will always remember having a uniquely recited poem eloquently recited to them every birthday. It’s a loving memory they will always have sketched in their hearts. Margie leaves to cherish her memory her children, David Palmore Sr. (Margie), Mike Palmore, Dennie Palmore (Terry) Linnie Palmore (Stephanie), and Brenda P. Morgan (Alan); 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 12th from 2-4 & 6-8pm, with funeral services on Saturday, December 13th at 1pm. All services will take place at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S.
