Aunt Martha,
You were such a special part of our lives. I keep hearing your laugh and seeing that beautiful smile. You and Uncle Ernie were such an inspiration to me. I know Heaven is rejoicing knowing you have come home. We will miss you so much. You always kept the faith! I enjoyed our talks. You were always such a comfort when things got tough. Always positive and uplifting. When Roger died, you were there. When Harry and I got married, you were there. You have always been there for all of us. Harry and I will miss and love you always. Your new chapter of life is so exciting to think about. We will meet again one day soon. We love you always.

Grandma(Martha), that's what my children and I always called you. For 40 years we lived next door to you and Ernie and you were just like family. When I had a question I could always come to you Grandma, and our children loved you so much. God gave us you for just a little while and I am so glad. Rest In Peace! We love and will miss you.

Dear Friends and family of Martha's, it is with sadness that we learn of Martha's death. For many of my much younger years my family and I were neighbors of Martha and Ernest. They were such a wonderful couple and lived long lives. They were active at New Bridge Baptist Church and in the community.

We wish we could be with you for Martha's service on Friday but since we cannot please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I will always love you Aunt Martha. I will miss our phone calls. Hearing your voice and saying "I don't need a thing" to me every time I asked you if you needed anything. There are too many memories to count or mention but there is one that stands out.
I have a very young memory of growing up and I was about 10 years old or so and Aunt Martha and Granny Roberta carried me and my sisters to Eastgate Mall to get new winter coats. That meant a lot to my parents. I know you are happy now with Uncle Ernie and the rest of our family in Heaven. Heaven has a brand new Angel now. My heart breaks that you are gone but knowing where you are now is a better place and I cannot wait to see you again. Love you so much!!
The photo is Aunt Martha age 17 and her brother (my dad) age 19. (sorry it is sideways but that's how it came out on this site).
