Mary Ann Moore Brown, 67, of Varina, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2017, with her children by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eleanor Moore; devoted significant other, Samuel Barker; father of her children, Donald Brown; and brother-in-law, Danny Wilton. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Stacy Donati (J.B.) and John Brown (Cristy); grandchildren, Jadyn and Ethan; siblings, Marie Klempin (Ron), Ann Wilton and James Moore Jr. (Barbara Jean); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Mary Ann never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 28. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
