Mary Lent Nolan

Mary Elizabeth Lent Nolan, 92, of Henrico, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. She was born on June 15, 1924, on the Berkeley Plantation to the late Elmer and Clara Lent. Mary was a member of Montrose Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Albert C. Nolan Sr.; and her nine siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Albert C. Nolan Jr., Sharon Nolan Ladd (Allen) and Thomas D. Nolan; granddaughter, Jennifer L. VanGraafeiland (Kevin); great-granddaughters, Anna and Sara; her beloved dog, Spike; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Rev. Cheryl Sumner for her loving care, as well as the nurses and staff at Memorial Regional Medical Center, Hanover Health Care and VCU Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday.
