Mary U. Throckmorton

THROCKMORTON, Mary (Uzel), 102, of Mechanicsville, Va., passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary (Glaser) Uzel; her husband, Karl Throckmorton; and two daughters, Frances Rogers and Barbara Gabriel. She is survived by her sister, Agnes (Uzel) Bailey; sister-in-law, Rose Uzel; two grandchildren, Sharon Ware and Chuck Rogers; one great-grandson, Shane (Caitlin) Ware; two great-great-grandchildren, Aiden and Charlotte and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends from 10-11:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. Interment will follow at 11:30 with a graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond.
