Marylou was such a beautiful God fearing woman. She taught me what a praying mother and grandmother looked like. Her love for her family and her love for God was so inspirational. She taught me how to cast my cares upon the Lord. She was funny, kind and so compassionate.  I was blessed to know her and to work with her. 
Thank you Marylou for being so amazing and wonderful. I'll see you in heaven my sister and friend. ❤ Love you!

My grandmother, Mary Lou Felts passed away in her sleep in the ICU from Covid. She was an amazing lady. Truly a role model Christian. Pentecostal her whole life. She’d read the Bible to you and if you acted up she might hit you with it; was her sword after all. 

Multiple different times as a child, I lived with her for a period of time. She greatly impacted my Life. She taught us about God and Bible stories at very early ages. She taught us fun Christian songs as kids, how to cook things like pot roast on Sunday and how to love on people. 

Years ago; as an adult, Grandma LOU stayed with us for several months, we took her on what I believe is the only cruise she ever went on. She had the best time. She played ping pong on the deck (and she was good) she enjoyed the beach, pools and all of the food. But mostly, she really just enjoyed quality time with all of us. I took a sweet picture of Grandma and my daughter Emily on the cruise.

Grandma-I am proud to be your grandson. I’m proud of the Godly role you played in my life and everyone’s you encountered. You are a beautiful Angel, and I will always love you. 

I know my late Brother, Jeremy Felts; I am certain was her first big HUG as she entered Heaven! 💙💙

Mommalou, there is noone like you. Thank you for completing our family. We miss you with a deep ache. I love you and appreciate everything you did and who you were.

During and past your time with the Bellingham Community Gospel Choir, we have sung many songs together about our new, wonderful, eternal life with Jesus Christ. Well, you got there before me, but one day we will meet again. You are much loved across the Bellingham community.  Mary Lou, I will cherish our time spent together. My prayers and condolences go with your family.

Aunt Mary Lou will always be held close to my heart with fond loving memories. She lived her life fulfilling God's Word as the Proverbs 31 Woman. She was strong, confident and a powerful Prayer Warrior for the Kingdom of God. She was a solid foundation of God's truths that led many into the saving knowledge of Jesus. I always admired  & respected her power, strength and confidence from knowing and living who she was in Christ Jesus. She truly 'lived' her faith!
Many times throughout my life, I reached out to Aunt Mary Lou for wisdom & guidance for challenges I faced, yet is wasn't so much her opinion she offered, but she guided me back to God's Word to find the answers I sought.  Over the years I have grown stronger in my own relationship with Jesus, as my Savior, Lord & soon coming King, because of the direction I received from her. 
I loved her dearly! She was a golden treasure, beautiful & rare.
When I heard of her passing on to Glory, I was saddened knowing this dark world had just lost an amazing Lady of love and bright light for God's Kingdom. Deep down in my heart, I had a smile though, just imagining Aunt Mary Lou doing that little 'happy' dance down those streets of gold with that big smile and amazing laugh of hers! Yeah, my heart was smiling for her and all our loved ones that have passed on before her.... Wow, what a reunion happened in Heaven that day!! I am so proud knowing she is 'family!'
May all who knew her continue to hold the precious memories of Aunt Mary Lou in their hearts. May God's presence and peace offer each of you comfort knowing this isn't a 'good bye', but merely an 'I'll see ya soon!". May each of you be BLESSED with all God's goodness and may Grace & Favor chase you down.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles N. Custer and Mary Custer; husband, Howard B. Felts; brother, James Custer; son, James Michael Felts; and grandson, Jeremy Michael Felts. Left to cherish Marylou's memory are her eight children, David Andrew Felts, Stephen Peter Felts, John Mark Felts, Paul Daniel Felts, Phillip Bartholomew Felts, Deborah Anna Felts, Rebecca Ruth Hamm and Joseph Matthew Felts; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; siblings, John Custer and Dan Custer; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
