Merrill Owen Davis

Merrill Owen “Sandy” Davis, of Charles City, VA, passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 67.

He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 15, 1955 and raised in Bellwood, PA by his parents, Merrill E. and Bessie C. Davis. He was a 1973 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School. Sandy enjoyed many hobbies during his life including motorcycles, hunting, and target shooting. But what he enjoyed most was his treasured time with his family who will mourn his loss deeply.

Sandy is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughters, Rabecca (Donald) Adams and Danielle (Daniel) Helm; his stepsons, Jim Tischler and Michael (Kelly) Tischler; his grandchildren, Lili, Iva, Ian, Connor, Luke, Jack, and Lucy; his brother Glenn (Deanna) Davis; his sister, Roseann (Jim) Noonan, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Merrill E. Davis and his mother, Bessie C. Davis.

Private visitation for the family will be held at 10 am on July 5, 2022 at Willis United Methodist Church, 8360 Willis Church Road, Richmond, VA 23231. Funeral services to follow at 11 am.
