Mildred “Anne” Hughes Frantz, 80, of Varina, passed away on Friday, November 4th, 2016. She was a retired employee of Henrico County and a member of the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church. She was also formerly active in the Tuckahoe Moose Lodge. Mildred is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert F. Hughes, Sr. She is survived by her children, Robert F. Hughes, Jr. (Kathy), Gary W. Hughes (Theresa), and Karen D. Hughes; and grandchild, Elizabeth M. Hughes. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 7th from 4-6 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. Funeral services will be held at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, 1919 New Market Road, on Tuesday, November 8th at 11 am. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
