Toler, Mitchell Jones, 90, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016. He was employed by the City of Richmond for 41 years. Mitchell was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Alice Parsley Toler. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Sterling Keith Toler (Patricia); grandchildren, Allison Jones (Hunter) and Lindsay Toler; sister-in-law, Mae Toler; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231, where a funeral service to be held the following day at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
