He was a brick mason by trade.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane E. Reid and Edward G. Lail and is survived by his partner, Annette Anderson; children, Steven, Jessica and Brandon Lail; grandchildren, Aiyana, Malaya, Elijah and Delta; and brothers, Edward, Charles and Guy Lail.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
