ENGLISH, Nancy Mills, 60, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Mills, Jr. Nancy graduated from Averett University and was a retired Verizon employee. She was a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Nancy is survived by her mother, Doris Mills; daughter, Amanda English Lumpkin (Thomas Donald, Jr.); grandchildren, Bryce and Bryant Lumpkin; aunt, Linda Pickering; and cousins, Janice Renick and Janey Neff. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue Richmond, Va 23231. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Carlisle Ave. Baptist Church, 2010 Carlisle Avenue, Richmond, Va 23231. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
