He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Brown, his mother, Grace Louise Brown, his father, Edward Carroll Brown Sr. and his brother, Edward Carroll “Buster” Brown Jr.
Wayne worked at Dupont for over 30 years until he retired. His favorite outdoor hobby was fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Shawn House (Steve), grandson, Brandon House, granddaughter, Tiffany House; his sisters, Dorothy Seymore, Patricia Harvey (Bubba), Kim Epps, Shelby Brown, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 9th from 6-8 pm with funeral services, Thursday, July 10th at 10:00 am. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231, with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA, where Wayne will be laid to rest.
