She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Mosby Brooks; parents, Harry W. Pearson and Beatrice Vest Pearson. She is survived by her brother, William H. Pearson (Sharon) sister Jerry P. King (Donnie); son, Christopher S. Brooks Sr (Stacy); daughter, Kim Hughes; six grandchildren, Maynard Gentry, Brandon Gentry (Aryn), Hillary Hughes (Nick), Shannon Olesky (Lewis), Chelsea Boswell (Justin), Christopher S. Brooks Jr; four great-grandchildren, close family friends Will Blackwell and Kathryn Sale, as well as many other friends that touched Nora’s heart.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00am on Wednesday, January 27, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.
