SPRENKEL, Norma Wilson, 86, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late William Sprenkel of Sandston, Va. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel and Rachel Wilson; and two sisters, Peggy Allen and Jane Early. She is survived by three children, Jimmy (Yen) Dodd, David (Sharon) Dodd and Rachel (John) Schools; three stepchildren, Nick Sprenkel, Violet (Tom) Benincase, and Roxanne Randazzo; two brothers, Dick (Pat) Wilson and Hugh (Eleanor) Wilson; and many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Norma was a devoted school teacher in Henrico County for 29 years and a lifelong member of Montrose Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 30, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
