She was a gift from God, an angel on earth. We were all so blessed to receive her absolute unconditional love. All those that knew her realized her capacity to love. We are rejoicing with her that she is with her Lord. We will miss her every day of our lives.
She worked until 1984 in computer operations for the State of Virginia and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Henrico.
She was preceded in death by William Arthur Young, Della Mae Young, Margie Branton (Grover Branton), Velma Ragland (Ed Ragland), Claire Hammond (Elbert Hammond), Harold Young, Thomas Young, (Ray McElroy); nieces and nephews, (Terry) Theresa Young, Edwin Ragland and Vicky Forster (McElroy).
She is survived by her husband, Carlton Waddell; children, Debra Waddell, Diana Stone (John Stone), Carl Waddell and Brad Waddell (Alycia Waddell); five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sibling, Josephine McElroy.
