Norman W. Goodman, Jr., 91, of Richmond passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WW II serving on the catapult crew on the USS Breton CVE/ACV-23 and the USS Shamrock Bay CVE-84/ACV-84. He was a member of the Washington and Henry Masonic Lodge 344 for 52 years, the American Legion Post 0125 for 40 years, and the Acca Shrine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn P. Goodman. He is survived by his brother, Richard D. Goodman, Sr.; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Barbara and Keeth Miller. A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel at The Masonic Home of Virginia, 500 Masonic Lane, Richmond, VA 23223. The family will receive friends at the Masonic Home prior to the service from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
