I met Patty (Debbie and Jimmy) shortly after they moved across the street from my parents house on Fulton Hill sometime in the mid 1960's. We all soon became close friends. It seemed that there was not a day that did not go by that we didn't see each other. We all loved to ride the bus uptown to see the latest Beach Party or Elvis Presley movie that was showing on Broad Street, picnics at Powhatan playground and Skateland on Saturday nights. Kick the Can on a warm Summer night was always a favorite. As time passes and new relationship develop sometime you lose touch with those that mean so much to you. You lose touch but always remember those that hold a special place in your heart. Patty as well Debbie, Jimmy and Sheri (who I was there when she was born) will always have a special place in my heart. God Bless you all.

Patricia Bolan Tucker, my sister-in-law, who was more like a sister, we sure are going to miss you. I remember meeting you when you and my brother were only 15 years old. You were the most awesome, kind and giving person to everyone not to mention your love and talent for creativity. Thanks for giving our family so much joy and for the wonderful times we spent together with you, Richard and family. I hope you sing and dance with the angels. I know how much you loved all of us and my dad Horace Tucker who is 92 and Jenny are going to miss you too as well as my sister Evelyn and family and my family and all your friends. To my brother Richard, nephews Ricky, Chris and Travis, I hope you find peace in the days ahead knowing Patty is no longer so suffering and remembering the love she had for you all as you were her first priority in everything she did. To you my brother, Richard, nephews Ricky, Chris and Travis, sister and brothers, grandchildren, family and friends, our deepest condolences and prayers that God hold you close and give you strength in the days ahead ... we are all fortunate to have had her in our lives as long as we did...and know Richard and Ricky, Chris and Travis losing a wife and a mother is the hardest ... but know that she would want you all to be okay. Hugs from your sister, aunt Brenda and family, J.B., JB III, Ryan, Michel and Magnus, and Baby Hendrix in Florida

Mom was loved by so many people and loved the same , if not more. She taught me all I know about cooking and arts n crafts. She always told me to never give up., which she demonstrated til her last fighting breath, she was a survivor and fighter. Watching her and dad, I was taught how to love. She raised me right. There’s so many good and great memories I could share, we’d be here for 49 years, every day of my life with her is memorable. I love you Mom! ❤️

I so enjoyed my friendship with Pat. What a sweet soull! She babysat my boys and taught me ceramics. We had great times doing ceramics and bazaars together. I think of her every time I decorate my Christmas tree with all her beautiful ornaments. May God give you comfort and strength in your loss.

Patty loved going fishing in the bay and after working all week we would head to bush park where our camper was at and we would get up at 5am in the morning eat some breakfast go down to the dock where our boat was at and head out to the eastern shore for flounder or spade fish we had some great times together we rarely fished the river and we didn't come back in until evening and we would also take the grand kids and our boys and friends out too. This was something she really loved to do.
