Patsy DeWitt VanSickle, 76, of New Kent, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. She was a housewife, and a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. Patsy graduated from La Grange Senior High School in Lake Charles Louisiana and took many classes at Reynolds and Rappahannock Community Colleges. She was a member of the American Sewing Guild, and enjoyed all phases of sewing. She also enjoyed gardening and yard work, and was an avid student of Theology. Patsy is preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew VanSickle; and her parents, Mary and Neal DeWitt. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald A. VanSickle; children, William A. VanSickle (Della) and Jackie Batkins (Billy); brother, Dr. Robert C. DeWitt and family; and brother-in-law, Robert J. VanSickle (Betty).
