She was born April 26, 1939, in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late William and Nettie Bivins. Pauline was the youngest of eight children. She cared for everyone in the family and loved to cook for them as well as anyone who sat at her dinner table. She also worked for many years at the telephone company, in directory where she met many of her longest friends. Later, she worked many years more in her brother John’s glass blowing shop.
Along with her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, her son, Dan and all her siblings.
She is survived by her son, David, her grandson, Bryan, her niece, Rebecca (Marc) and her nephews, Bryan (Kim) and Todd (Jenni).
A service will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
