Penny Jane Cooke Hill

Penny Cooke Hill, 62, of Sandston, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” Hill; her daughter, Rhonda Majzer (Frankie); step-daughter, Karey Brown (Spencer); four grandchildren, Nick and Mitchell Majzer and Abby and Sully Brown; one sister, Gayle Kerstetter (Jay); and two brothers, George (Lynda) and Andy Cooke. She was a lifelong member of Willis United Methodist Church. She worked at GE, formerly Life of Virginia, for 30 years, and most recently at The Hermitage at Ginter Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 1:00pm at Willis United Methodist Church, 8360 Willis Church Road Henrico, VA 23231.
