She was a resident of Henrico for 65 years. She was one of six children to Angel and Lorenzo Rowland and was born May 10, 1933, in Gretna, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosser Lee Martin, Sr. and two sons, Michael Wayne Hendrick and Alan Ray Martin.
She is survived by her son, Rosser Lee Martin, Jr. (Sue) and one grandchild, Brian Ross Martin.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 2, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150.
She loved bowling and traveling all over the country in state and national tournaments with her girlfriends and enjoyed spending time at the river house on the Potomac. She will be loved and missed by many.
