Phyllis M. Johnson, 70, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2015. She is preceded in death by her father, Sherwood L. Johnson. Phyllis worked as Sales Representative for McCoy Publishing until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, who loved to decorate for social events. She was very active and was loved by her church family; her presence and bright personality will forever be missed by them all.
Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Willie Mae Ferrell of Wilson, NC, and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 13th at 11am. Service will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 5608 Staples Mill Rd. Richmond VA, 23228. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Wilson, NC.
