WHITLOW, Robert Samuel III “Sam”, 63, of Sandston, passed away on Thursday, September 04, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. Whitlow Jr. and Louise S. Whitlow. Sam is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marion G. Whitlow; children, Robert Samuel Whitlow IV, Tabitha Scott Whitlow; sister, Linda W. Meadows; and nephew, Kevin L. Meadows. The family will receive friends on Monday September 8, 2014 from 5-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231; where family and friends may meet Tuesday, September 9th at 1:30pm for a procession to Forest Lawn Cemetery for a graveside service at 2pm.
