Ronald Ernest Harris

HARRIS, Ronald Ernest, went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2018, at age 73. He was born January 24,1945, and was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Gilbert; three brothers, Bubba, Junie and Ralph; and one sister, Linda. He leaves behind four sisters, Midge, Charlotte, Pat and Barbara; brother,

Jerry (Patty); and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all who have cared for him during this time. Special thanks to longtime friend, Harold, who visited him daily and has been a comfort to his sisters. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 23, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231,where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
