FARMER, Roy Gilliam, 75, of Henrico, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Roy was an automobile painter employed by Dominion Chevrolet for 43 years, as well as Koontz Paint and Body Works, Inc. for one year. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and he served in the Air National Guard. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Blanche Salmons Farmer; brothers James Farmer and Bernard Farmer; and his sister Patricia Woody. Left to cherish Roy's memory are his wife, Beverly Farmer; children Wendy Piersall and Steven Farmer; grandchildren, Rachel and Steven Piersall; and his sister, Joyce York. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1pm at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 5270 Charles City Rd, Henrico, VA 23231, with a luncheon to follow.
