CHRISTIAN, Ruth D., of 7812 George W. Watkins Rd. Quinton, VA 23141, departed this life on July 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Inez Johnson, and husband, John A. Christian, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Ann Robinson; son, John A. Christian, Jr. (Joyce); daughters, Ruth C. Gill (James), Sinceray Braxton (Edwin), and Andrea Bradby (Jesse); 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Remains rest at Nelsen Funeral home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA where guests may visit her from 10 am to 7 pm on Monday, August 1st. Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 7 pm Monday evening. Funeral services will be held at Second Liberty Baptist Church, 8140 George W. Watkins Rd., Quinton, VA, on Tuesday, August 2nd at 11 am. Dr. Milton A. Hathaway officiating.
