SEAY, Reverend Sanford "Sam" Samuel Jr., 66, of Glen Allen, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada and Sanford S. Seay Sr. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Seay; children, Kimberly Dich (Tim), Sanford S. Seay III "Sam"; grandchildren, James and Rebecca Dich and Joshua S. Seay; brothers, Robert M. Seay (Carol) and Kevin B. Seay (Vanessa). Sam was a Vietnam veteran and in the U.S. Army for seven years. He also worked as a salesman for Black and Decker DeWalt for many years. He also graduated from Piedmont Bible College and was a pastor in the Southern region of Virginia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
