RUSHING, Scott Matthew, 17, of Henrico, passed away December 5, 2015. Scott was a NJROTC student at Varina High School, a former student at East End Christian Academy, and Richmond Academy of SDA. He was a member of the youth group at East End Christian Assembly and a Pathfinder in the Patterson Avenue SDA Church. He is survived by his parents, John M. Rushing and Susan Cannon Rushing; grandparents, Joe and Susie Coltes, and Albert and Jane Montville; siblings, Christian, Kaylee, Jacob, his dog Ruby; and biological mother, Patricia M. Rushing. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 15, at Patterson Avenue SDA Church, 3901 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA 23221.
