She retired from Reynolds Metals after 30 years of service. Shirley was very active in Montrose Presbyterian Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael E. Butler Sr. (Pat) and Cheryl B. Davis; grandson, Michael E. Butler Jr. (Jennifer); great-granddaughter and pride and joy, Hailey Butler; and her cousin, Barbara Perry.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
