PARSONS, Spencer,Jr., 85, of Ashland, passed away January 11, 2017. He served a brief time in the United States Army, and then started his career in the United States Air Force. He was a Prisoner Of War during the Korean War, and also served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed westerns, working on cars, and making people laugh. He never met a stranger, and will be missed by all who knew him. Spencer was preceded in death by his wife, June Parsons; and daughter, Cindy Boucher. He is survived by his daughter, Mindy Paul (Chris); granddaughters, April Alley (Matt), and Heather Deane (Ronnie); grandsons, Patrick Johnston, and Mitchell Johnston (Jen); four great grandchildren; and dear friend, Clifton Smith.
