Susan Diane Gary

She was a home care worker for Care Advantage and was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church in Elko. She belonged to a Woman’s Group in New Kent and enjoyed many hobbies such as crafts, card making, shopping, singing, laughing and trying to be the best Christian that she could be.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Gary and is survived by her son, Anthony R. Baxter; granddaughter, Antonia Cooper and husband, Travis Cooper; youngest great-granddaughter, Azaria Cooper and next youngest Heaven Walker, Tyreese Lemon; her son’s grandmother, Earline Harris; cousin, Sue Timberlake; beloved friends, Faye and Jim White and their daughter, Dee Dee Hunter; and friends and family from Sandston and Charlottesville.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov 1, 2020, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 2323, where a service will be held immediately following at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
