Susie Davis Locklear

LOCKLEAR, Susie Davis, 90, of Henrico, passed away on May 31, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forence Locklear. She is survived by her children, Brenda Locklear, Wayne Locklear (Lynda) and Gail Faison (Bobby); grandchildren, Suzanne Grubbs, Terry Price Jr., Tammy Fox (Justin), Amanda Soehren (Mike) and Jacqueline Stanley (Daniel); and brother, James Davis. Susie was born in North Carolina on July 19, 1928 and graduated from John Marshall High School. She was married to Forence Locklear on August 15, 1949. Susie worked for Locklear’s Heating and Air Conditioning and was a member of Third Christian Church and Highland Springs Church of Christ. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where services will be held on Thursday, June 6, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va.
