Terri Carter Wooten, 57, of Mechanicsville passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Dale Wooten; sons, Chris and Josh Castlebury; grandchildren, Makayla, Cash, Carter and Zoey Castlebury; parents, Troy and Carol Carter; siblings, Doug Carter (Tammy), Joy Johnson (Dinky) and Melissa Eberhard (Butch); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will be held Friday, May 11, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsenrichmond.com.

Terri, I have known you for many years and no matter the time that went by us raising our children and grandchildren, Our paths always found us back laughing and having fun. You are a wonderful lady,friend,wife,mother,daughter, sister and grandmother. You have left us all with many beautiful memories which I will cherish always. Your spirit and strength surpass what you have been through and came through with the roar of a lioness. Only God knows why and that's where I will rejoice in his calling of you Sweets!
