SPAINHOUR, Virginia Killian, 95, of Richmond, Va, passed away October 29, 2018. She was born in Forsyth County, NC on December 14, 1922. Virginia graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School. She was married to Robert A. Spainhour on January 2, 1942. Virginia worked as an executive assistant for Hanes Corporation until her retirement. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and had a passion for being with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Spainhour Staley (L. Ronald); granddaughter, Amy Staley Kobb; grandson in law, Daniel Lance Kobb; great grandson, Jonathan Staley Kobb; great grandson Matthew Thomas Kobb; and great granddaughter Lydia Ellen Kobb. A service will be held at the graveside at 2 pm on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 3250 High Point Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
