Walter "Sammy" Samuel Terry Jr.

Walter “Sammy” Terry Jr., 63, of Sandston went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 7, 2015. He was a Maintenance Mechanic at Nabisco for 29 years, a member of Kentwood Heights Baptist Church, and a member of Sandston 216 AFAM. Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Walter S. Terry Sr., and Goldie H. Terry; and niece Jennifer M. Lacy. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Paula Martin Terry; mother and father in law, Angeline S. Martin and James W. Martin, Sr.; children, Jamie Terry (Connie), Nikki Terry, Justin Terry (Ann); grandchildren, Ashley, Gary, Wyatt, Jacob, and Kerstin; sister, Cheryl McGhee (David); niece, Pamela Smith (Will); a special dedicated caregiver, Pearl Jackson; and his extended family and friends of Sandston Little League Community. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum from 2-4p and 6-8p. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10a at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum with Pastor Dave Smith officiating.
