William "Billy" Waller Johns

William (Billy) Johns, 75, passed away on, July 23, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Louann Johns; grandchildren, M.C. Yarlbourgh and Shawna Loftis; parents, Thomas and Velma Johns; sister, Josephine Keesee; and son-in-law, Coley Darrel. Billy worked as a skilled carpenter for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard sales, flea markets, and was an avid fan of NASCAR. If anyone has ever known Billy, they would know his personality and how he loved to tell jokes. This will be one of the many things that we will all miss the most. Left to cherish his memory is his girlfriend, Penny Wilkinson; children, Rick Johns (Tracey), Larry Parks (Denise), Gene Parks, Tracey Farber (Brent), Diana Coley, and Cindy Loftis (Andy); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 27th, from 5-8pm, and funeral services will be Monday, July 28th at 11am. All services will be at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S.
