William Thomas Branch “Sonny”, 71, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2014. He was the son of the late Thomas and Violet Branch. Sonny was in the elevator trade for 40 years. He was a loving grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Jordan. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Branch; sons, David Meade, Donnie Meade (Wendy), Greg Branch (Anya), Eric Branch; daughters, Kerry Callahan (Frank) and Vicki Branch; his grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Rollins, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231, where a funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
