William Scott Harris "Merle"

William Scott Harris “Merle”, born August 17, 1962 in Hanover, Virginia went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He was survived by his angel on earth, his wife of 32 years, Noreen Harris; three daughters, Stephanie Green (Casey), Jessica Taylor (Jason), Kristy Harris; three Grandchildren, Noah Forsyth, Jaden Taylor, Joelle Taylor; Mother, Gloria Ware; Mother in-law, Grace Foley and an abundance of extended family and friends. Scott worked as a Supervisor for Circuit City and enjoyed building model cars and reading the bible in his spare time. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather that never took a single day for granted and cherished every moment God gave him. In addition to the love he had for his family, he had great passion and love for his church, Highland Springs Church of Christ. He impacted the lives of many people with his strength and determination to overcome every obstacle he faced with muscular dystrophy. His legacy of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering love will live on in our hearts forever. If Scott could leave the world with one piece of advice, he would say to live each day like it’s the last and to love God unconditionally.

The family will receive friends and family Tuesday, March 19 from 11 until service time at 12 at Highland Springs Church of Christ 416 Kalmia Ave, Highland Springs, VA 23075
