William Jennings Johnson "Bill"

JOHNSON, William “Bill”, 82, of Highland Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Martin Lee Johnson. Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean Waid Johnson; son, William Johnson “Jay” (JoAnne); daughter, Jann Hennessy (Mike), grandchildren, Justin and Jared Johnson, Jason Vaughan, Kelly Hennessy; great grandchildren, Callie Johnson, Kylie Hand; and many other family members and friends. Bill retired form C.W. Wright Construction with 30 plus years of service. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and The Masonic Lodge in Highland Springs Lodge # 322. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 2 pm. at The Masonic Home of Virginia, 4101 Nine Mile Rd. Richmond, VA 23223. Interment in Washington Memorial Park.
