William "Willie" S. Major

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Edith Major; sisters, Elizabeth Englehart and Betty Nutall; and his brother, Johnny Major. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lee Scott Major and Robert Wayne Major (Candace Allen Major); grandchild, Skye Addison Major; and his brother, Lawrence Major.

Willie worked and retired as a forklift operator for Philip Morris where he earned the nickname "Wild Bill". He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and boating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23231 from 1 to 2 p.m. where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park. The family requests that all in attendance wear a mask.
