William Nelson Wright

William Nelson Wright, 95, of Mechanicsville, formally of Littleton, North Carolina died Wednesday, June 3, 2015. William was employed at The Federal Reserve Bank for 36 years and was a 59 year member of Fairmount Memorial Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, John G. Wright, Sr. and Meta Sadler Wright and three brothers, John G. Wright Jr., Marvin H. Wright, and Leon C. Wright. Surviving William is his wife of 68 years, Alma H. Wright of Mechanicsville; children, Pamela Wright Williams (Kenneth) of Chesapeake, Jean Wright Snow (Roger) of Chesterfield, and Jill Carol Wright Steel (Fred) of Mechanicsville; grandchildren, William J. Snow (Nicole), Pamela J. Sadler (Trey), Brian N. Snow, Danielle Steel, Lauren S. Brigida (Ben), and Billy Steel, and three great-grandchildren, Ava M. Snow, Isabella Snow, and Katleigh Sadler. The family will receive friends Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home 4650 S Laburnum Ave Richmond, VA. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238.
