She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Edward Webber, Sr. and Verna Mae Farrar Webber; nine brothers; three sisters; and her husband, Julian L. Garrett.
She worked as a supervisor at Philip Morris and was a member of Fairmount United Methodist Church. She loved gardening, her flowers, her family and being with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Steingold; her grandchildren, William B. Chapman and Michael I. Steingold; a sister, Ann Switzer; a brother, Henry Webber; and two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Amelia.
A graveside service will be held 1 pm, Friday, April 21 at Oakwood Cemetery, 3101 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA 23223.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fairmount United Methodist Church, 12 Bayard Road, Richmond, VA 23223.
