Zada Lea Kahn

She served as a secretary for two U. S. Congressman prior to becoming a devoted wife and mother where she held several administrative positions for small businesses and served on the PTA Board. Zada Lea was a member of the Eastern Star, Colonial Chapter # 40. She was Episcopalian and the wife of Master Sergeant Les Kahn. Zada Lea was a beloved wife for 60 years, mother for 55 and grandmother for 26 years, and a friend to anyone she met, spreading light, love and happiness to all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Talbott; mother, Zada Talbott; sister, Carlita Talbott Speake; and brothers, Wayne Talbott and John “Billy” Talbott.

In addition to her husband, Leslie “Les” Kahn, she is survived by her son, Derek Kahn; grandchildren, Cameron Kahn and Natalie Kahn; and daughter-in-law, Belinda Kahn.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Masonic Home of Virginia Chapel, 500 Masonic Lane, Richmond, VA 23223.

Graveside services will be private.
