Charles Jonathan Shear, age 51, was born on February 21, 1968 in Pontiac, Michigan and passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. He grew up in Lake Orion, Michigan and was a graduate of Lake Orion High School. On 03/04/05, He was married to Michelle, the love of his life and soulmate of 14 years.
Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Nowels of Rochester
Charlie is survived by his wife Michelle Shear; son and daughter, Sam and Lauren Daleo; his father, JR Nowels; Sister, Sarah Shook; Brother, Zac Nowels of Rochester; as well as all of his very loved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews & Family In Law.
With Charlie’s family owning Lake Orion Lumber, Charlie developed a love for woodworking and crafting at a young age. It became a passion and desire, ultimately leading him to work in the field of construction.
Charlie was a highly sought after craftsman throughout his years.
He became a very valued employee for Mike Butcher with Stark Enterprises (& Family) as a Construction Project Manager; which he made into a successful, established career.
Charlie had a deep love for music, loved his backyard bird feeds & bird watching. He enjoyed reading, collecting Harley-Davidson items, camping, canoeing, and when needed he always made time for family and friends’ household projects, which he absolutely thrived on.
Charlie loved and adored his entire family; blood, marriage, and work related, as well as his canine loves, Sadi & Bozley.
He always looked forward to family gatherings, sharing and making memories.
Charlie was an active member of the AA community.
He had aspirations of mentoring, educating, and sponsoring others with addiction.
