I have been reminiscing these past few days on all of the memories I have of Adam. My first encounter with him was during a summer lacrosse league while we were still in Middle School. At first I thought, "Who is this goofy kid from Pittsburgh and how does he already have facial hair?". This was the start to a friendship that I am ever so grateful to have had. Whether we were playing lacrosse or just hanging out, Adam always seemed to have a smile on his face. He had one of those infectious laughs that made everyone else around him join in. His kind soul makes me so thankful to have been apart of his life. I will cherish our memories forever.

My sincerest condolences go out to the entire family. I was unable to be at the service but my thoughts and prayers are with you. Adam is, and always will be, loved by many.

Dear Aaron & Tracy,

It’s heartbreaking to hear about the loss of your son. Please accept our deepest thoughts of sympathy for your family. Death is a viscous enemy that attacks both young and old alike. At times we feel helpless against its destructive power. However, we have a promise that our Creator will mend our wounds and abolish the sting of death forever. We hope the words found at Hosea 13:14 (From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death? Where is your destructiveness, O Grave?) will provide a measure of comfort and hope to your family during this most difficult time.

It's been far too long since I've seen or talked to Adam, but he was one of my closest friends for many years. I'll never forget all the times we stayed up all night watching movies and playing Super Smash Bros Melee on the old Gamecube in your basement. Much more than that, I'll never forget how genuine and caring of a friend and person Adam always was. I can't begin to imagine what any of you are going through right now, but I pray you can find peace in remembering that about him as well.
