Adolf was born September 2, 1933, in Romania. After coming to America, he married Carolyn Muschel, and they were married from 1955 until her passing in 1981. Adolf and Carolyn raised their loving family of 4 children in Rochester Hills. Adolf remained in their home on Livernois after Carolyn passed away. He later married Rosemary Henderson in 1995. They were married until her passing in 2019.
Adolf owned Oakland Tree Service for over 40 years and retired in 2004. He continued to climb trees well into his late 70s, helping friends and neighbors, but mostly because of his love for the tree business.
He attended Bible school and served as a volunteer chaplain for the Oakland County Jail for over 50 years. He visited the jail twice a week to share the love of Jesus with the inmates. Adolf was an incredible witness of the gospel, reaching so many lost souls throughout his life.
Adolf is survived by his children, Jon (Sherry) Kipper, Suzanne (Raynaldo) Martine, and Julie Wilson; Grandchildren, Ryan (Natalie) Kipper, Mindy (Stefano) Casadei, Michelle (Frank) Czajka, Erica Kirtides, Ashley Wilson, Alison Wilson, and Annalisa (Daniel) Arthaud; Ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Adolf was predeceased by his first wife Carolyn; second wife Rosemary; and son Stephen Kipper.
Visitation will be held Thursday September 25, 2025, from 2-8 pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan. A funeral service will be held on Friday September 26, 2025, at 11am (10:00 viewing) at Rochester Christian Church, located at 4435 Rochester Rd in Oakland Township, Michigan.
