Albert W. Anderson, 83, of Rochester Hills, MI and Maui, Hawaii, died October 31, 2018. He was born in Alpena, MI March 22, 1935. He graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Highland Park Community College. He married Kathie Joy Anderson on August 17, 1993. Albert worked in car sales at Tamaroff Buick in Southfield and Joe May Chevrolet in Detroit. He owned Anderson Sewing & Vac. Inc, stores before retiring to Maui in 2000. He was a member of the Elks Club and the Rochester Business Men’s Golf League. He had a passion for his wife and was an avid car collector. He enjoyed winters on Maui, surfing, golfing and going on adventures. Albert is survived by his mother, Lela Anderson (the late Albert W. Anderson); his wife, Kathie Joy Anderson (nee Ruegsegger); his children, Kip Anderson, Kelly Anderson, and Amy Williams; his grandchildren, Karen Lynn Anderson, Kayla Gabrielle Anderson, and Neal Anderson Williams; and his brother, Douglas Anderson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2-7 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11 AM, with gathering beginning at 10 AM until time of service, at Pixley Funeral Home.
