Alfred W. Reeves

REEVES, ALFRED W.; age 93; of Rochester; died May 27, 2013. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, his entire professional career was spent with Burroughs Corp from the time he graduated from Burroughs Trade School until his retirement in 1982 from UNYSIS which had absorbed Burroughs Corp. A faithful and long-time member of Howarth United Methodist Church, he loved golfing, wintering in Florida and boating, but most of all, he loved his family who in return, adored Al. Beloved husband of Shirley his wife of almost 67 years; loving father of Ronald (Kay) Reeves of Adrian and Kaye (Paul) Hamman of Rochester Hills; devoted grandfather of Aaron (Molly) Reeves, Matthew (Olivia) Reeves, Laura (Patrick) Fenchak, Lisa (Michael) Damitio and Amy (Ernest) Young. Also surviving him are his 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Saturday at Howarth United Methodist Church, 550 East Silverbell Road in Orion Twp. Visitation Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester.
